Response Times
The editorial office acknowledges enquiries within two working days and provides a substantive reply within five working days. Requests concerning the status of a manuscript already in review are answered by reference to the OJS workflow record; authors can also check the current stage of their submission at any time by logging into the submission portal.
What to Include
- Your full name and institutional affiliation
- The manuscript identifier assigned by the submission system, if your enquiry concerns a submission already made
- The relevant section of the journal, where applicable
- A clear statement of your question or request
Specific Enquiries
- Submissions and review status — via the OJS portal, or by email to the editorial office.
- Technical difficulties with the submission portal — describe the problem, the browser used, and attach a screenshot where possible.
- Publication ethics and complaints — mark the subject line accordingly; complaints are handled under the procedure set out in the Publication Ethics statement.
- Reviewer applications — attach a curriculum vitae, an ORCID identifier, and a statement of subject expertise.
- Indexing, partnership, and institutional correspondence — address to the editorial office, marked for the attention of the Executive Secretary.
